passionate about building good teams, good games, art and education.

Cardinal Legacy is the game we are building with a brilliant team at lowpolytechnic. The game is a non-commercial tribute game to Maryam Mirzakhani, this brilliant mind. Updates soon!

Helskate is the game we built with a brilliant team at Phantom Coast. Helskate is an action skateboarding rogue-like indie game that was just released as a 1.0 on Steam!
my work
VIDEO GAME PRODUCTION
I have a strong passion for building good teams, and good games. I have built indie teams and indie games, and I care about building more and better.
I can help with any stage of development from building a team, prototyping, pre-production, testing and feedback cycles, production, more testing and more feedback cycles all the way to marketing and release followed by a post-release support plan.
BUSINESS DIRECTION
From the early stages of discussing the vision for the business, team and product, to mission and strategy, I have been involved in the process. Budget/time management, bizdev, pitching, raising investment and establishing/maintaining a relationship with business partners online and offline.
I believe I can help with the stages mentioned above, and anything I might be capable of doing. Building a good business feels as good as building a good game.
ART AND EDUCATION
I come from a digital art background. I can make trailers, artbooks, marketing assets and anything I’ll be excited about. Also I’m confident I can lead an art team.
Teaching has always been a great passion of mine, and I’ve had lectures and courses in various art events, schools and universities, internationally. I would be very excited if I can help with anything in education, from events to academia. I find it very meaningful.
Just joined: Dutch Game Mentors
Feels good to learn together.
I just joined the network of Dutch Game Mentors, to be able to be given this opportunity to get in touch with students or studios who I might be helpful for, as a voluntary responsibility. I am beyond excited to start this, as I am eager to find out what’s new to learn regardless of the vision and product.
So far I have delivered a few recent lectures in Aalto and Breda universities, regarding indie game production. The syllabus/slides for this recent talk is available, so feel free to let me know if it’s interesting to be presented at your studio/school. I’d be more than happy to plan something quick and deliver.

Creating a plan that works for you
If you feel like any of the stuff I’ve done might be something you or your studio need, don’t hesitate to let me know. We can hop on a call and discuss it.
I work with a limited number of clients and I tend to build a long-term collaboration. The way I see it, I can either help with certain deliverables (from a trailer for your game, to a game itself) or becoming a part-time member of your team to focus on what you think I’d be most helpful from production and management, to marketing and bizdev.
BREAKING NEWS
These are born. Two are two indie teams, and one is a non-profit exclusive art campus called Ahura.

Latest Trailer
I had the absolute privilege of crafting the latest update trailer for Helskate based on a song from a very talented Hip Hop artist: Yungtown. I enjoyed trying to keep up with his killer flow, and be able to match the lyrics with the footages as much as I could. I enjoyed this work very much and I’m looking forward to build the 1.0 release trailer, this time based on a custom track by the same artist!!
Recognition by a Game Awards winner!
I was over the moon when I found out Amir Satvat, the very first winner of the “Game Award: Game Changer” has posted about my recent work about Ahura Art Campus!! I mean, he even tagged Geoff Keighley in the post which made me go like whaaaaat. I’m flattered and energized to do more, and do better!

The Art of Helskate has been a joyful project I did during the past five years of development, as a tribute to the amazing talents I was lucky to work with at the Phantom Coast art department. Every single artist was cherry-picked for this project, and you can go through their incredible work through this digital artbook. The complete version is coming soon! Game Production Podcast
I had the privilege of being a guest producer in the latest episode of Evolution Exchange Nordics Podcast.
It had an interesting structure: three producers ask three questions, and all three answer to all of the questions one by one. A lot of interesting discussions popped up and I’m happy I could contribute. The episode is out, feel free to check it out.

“Song of Leyla” is out!
I produced a song for Leyla, our tattoo artist in the game! Having this idea for almost a year, I had two people in mind, both very good friends of mine from many years ago: Alireza Chamani (the composer and the Piano player) and Delneshin Danaie (complementing with Santoor). They have never met each other, one lives in US and the other in Australia. I shared the vision and unsurprisingly, a magical collaboration came into being. What you can listen here now is the result of this collaboration. Every time the player dies in Helskate and comes back to Leyla for a new tattoo, she’ll be playing this song on her stereo. Lovely!!
I used to do vehicle art a few years ago, using 3DSMAX, Vray and Photoshop.
Time to time I pick up Automotive Illustration and make some stuff, and I’m recently experimenting in other mediums: mostly pen, markers, pencil and paper.
Let’s connect.
Let’s explore how I can be of any help. Every now and then I manage to deal a decent hand. If I get the vision and we resonate, you can expect my 200%.
